‘Sopranos’ star Edie Falco blasts 76ers’ Joel Embiid: ‘He’s evil’

Edie Falco clearly holds a grudge.

The “Sopranos” star is currently dating Joel Embiid.

Falco, who played Carmela on the iconic HBO series, is a passionate Knicks fan and joined Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart on the latest episode of their “Roommates Show” podcast.

She criticized Embiid for elbowing Brunson when the Knicks and 76ers met in the first round of the playoffs last year.

“Joel Embiid, he’s mean,” Falco said. “The guy who elbowed you in a game last year and I was going to go after him. I mean how bad was that. And then I think I’ve seen you guys play since then and you’re all cool with each other . I say, ‘You don’t hold a grudge?’

In Game 5 of that series — which the Knicks won in six games — Embiid stuck his head out and nailed Brunson’s head as the latter cut to the rim.

However, Embiid got away with it despite Brunson’s anger at the time.

“I don’t hold grudges, for the most part,” Brunson explained. “Yeah, I hold a grudge, who am I to lie? But I’ve known Joel since before I even got into the league. I’ve met him a few times. It’s just respect there. I think there’s a certain line , where there’s respect and where you all compete, and once it’s done, it’s good. I don’t want to say it’s cool, I want to say it’s good.”

Falco, a Brooklyn native, said she became a Knicks fan during her “Sopranos” days and has followed the team ever since.

She revealed that she took Karl-Anthony Towns’ blockbuster trade — which notably sent Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to the Timberwolves last offseason — hard.

“You’d think I’d be better at managing trades than I am,” Falco said. “I don’t know who’s in charge of making these decisions, but they need to talk to the fans. A bunch of us really fell apart this last time. I’m coming around, the new guys are great.

“You’re a Knick fan, but what does it mean to be a Knick fan? Just them playing in the yard? It’s the guys. It’s the guys you bond with. It’s the way they play together and the interactions and the inside jokes and what y’all have that sound. You get rid of a couple of the guys, I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? You can’t.’

“It’s not healthy, man. I have kids and a life and stuff, and I completely fell apart.”
