UPDATE: December 25, 2024 at 1:15 PM ET– So far, Taylor Swift has not been seen at Acrisure Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Despite earlier reports that the Swift family would be celebrating Christmas with Travis Kelceit seems the pop star didn’t join the NFL player in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So far, Swift has not participated in any away games this season, due in part to her busy Eras Tour schedule. That is also possible security concerns has played a role in her absence.

Still, Swift has made a point to participate all but one home game in Kansas City—and she had a good excuse to miss the Dec. 8 game, considering she was in Vancouver to perform her final Eras Tour concert ever!

With Swift absent from the stadium in Pittsburgh, it seems less likely that she will make it to the Chiefs’ final regular-season game against the Denver Broncos on Jan. 5, though we can’t say for sure. Maybe that’s why she delivered so strongly game-day ‘fit on December 21.

Of course, this probably won’t be her last appearance of the NFL season. We still have the playoffs to look forward to in the new year.

ORIGINAL STORY—Swifties watching football on Christmas Day will definitely keep an eye out for Taylor Swift.

On December 25, the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium, located over 800 miles away from Travis Kelce’s home field in Missouri. While Taylor has yet to attend an away game this season, her fans may be in for a Swiftmas miracle.

Earlier this month Us Weekly reported that Taylor and Travis plan to spend the holiday with both of their families despite the NFL player’s work schedule. Although we cannot guarantee her participation in the match, we all remember what happened after Donna Kelce said the pop star might also be “busy” to join Kelces for Thanksgiving…

ICYMI, Kelces reportedly ended up celebrating the holidays in Nashville with the Swifts. “Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving with their families,” a source shared People“It’s the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together.”

Then, on Nov. 29, Taylor and Donna showed up to the Chiefs’ home game against the Raiders in coordinated trousers with leather effect. “Both their families love them as a couple, and Taylor has grown even closer to Travis’ mom,” a source shared. Us Weekly in March. “Taylor has really become integrated into the family.”

This time last year, Taylor was cheering on Travis Kelce with his brother Austin, who dressed as Santa Claus to the apartment. Although the Chiefs ended up to lose that face-off against the Raiders was Travis all smiles recounts Austin’s dedication to holiday cheer during a later episode of New heights podcast.

Travis and his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce agreed that Austin “killed it” at the holiday game. “It was a full commitment and I respect that,” Kylie said of her Santa costume.

For his part, Travis said Austin “actually made me feel like a kid” by giving him a sentimental gift straight out of his “Santa sack.” As Travis told her, “(He) whipped it out and gave me a VHS of my favorite football movie of all time.” That movie was the 1994s Little giants.

Perhaps Jason Kelce picks up where Austin left off considering this year’s Christmas match will take place in his home country. We know he has the costume handy.

Chiefs v. The Steelers game starts at 1:00 PM EST on Netflix and CBS.
