The Green Bay Packers defense struck fear into the New Orleans Saints en route to a shutout win Monday night and a playoff berth.

Packers defensive end Rashan Gary carried that aggression into the postgame when he crashed Jordan Love’s on-field interview with ESPN’s Lisa Salters.

And he scared the veteran reporter in the process.

Salters asked Love how it felt to clinch a playoff spot after the 34-0 win at home.

“It’s great, it’s what we work for all offseason,” Love said before being interrupted by a lurking Gary.

“I was playing with him,” a fired-up Gary yelled on camera. “No once again on the ticket.”

Love, known for his composure, told Gary “come on man, come on” to ask him to lower the temperature a bit knowing he was on national TV.

Gary came back for more to make a barking noise.

Salters could be heard telling him “you scared me.”

Gary and the Packers defense will give the Saints offensive nightmares. The Packers’ stifling defense posted the first shutout of the 2024 NFL season.

Gary was a big part of that. He recovered a fumble in the first half, one of two takeaways for the Packers defense in the game.
