Digital publications
Paramount Pictures has set a Dec. 24 digital release date for Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator II,” with the title available to rent or purchase as a premium video-on-demand release across platforms. After New Line Cinema’s anime feature “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim” debuted to a disastrously low $4.5 million in its opening weekend in theaters on Dec. 13, then dropped a steep 72% to just $1.25 million last weekend , the title will be made available digitally here at home on December 27.
