Disney Dreams That Soar was a drone show that ran throughout the summer of 2024 at Disney Springs.

Disney Dreams That Soar premiered at Disney World on May 24, 2024 and ran through September 2, 2024. The drone show, which ran for approximately 10 minutes, took place at two scheduled times each night: 21:00 and 22:45.

With 800 drones and plenty of catchy music (including many Disney favorites), Disney Dreams That Soar was free to watch. The show was visible across Disney Springs and Lake Buena Vista, with images that were up to 400 feet tall, but it was best viewed along the waterfront between the Cirque du Soleil Theater and the Aerophile.

This Disney Springs drone show didn’t just light up the night sky—it also synced with guests’ MagicBand+ wristbands, lighting up and vibrating with the show.

Will Disney dreams floating return to Disney Springs?

Disney Dreams That Soar may have been only the second nighttime drone show at Disney Springs (2016’s Starbright Holidays was the first), but it was both impressive and incredibly popular over the summer. As far as we know right now, however, Disney has no plans to bring the show back.

Disney Dreams That Soar is currently on hiatus and has been since September 2, 2024. The drone show is intended as a limited time experience and currently has no scheduled return date.

If Disney Springs sees Disney Dreams That Soar take to the skies again, it’s likely the drone show won’t return until next summer. Odds are unlikely we’ll see it at Disney World until at least the summer of 2025 — and there’s currently no confirmation the show will be back for another summer.
