GREEN BAY – While the snow won’t be nearly as heavy as what Green Bay experienced Thursday, fans can expect some snow in the air for the first “Monday Night Football” game of the season for Green Bay Packers.

The Packers put on New Orleans Saints at 7:15 p.m. Monday at Lambeau Field.

What is the weather forecast for Monday in Green Bay?

With temperatures hovering around freezing and precipitation in the forecast, a mix of snow and freezing rain is expected Monday, which could provide slick roads for fans heading to Green Bay.

A storm system is expected to arrive Sunday night that will develop from a snow to freezing rain mix Sunday night into early Monday, changing to mainly snow Monday afternoon and returning to a light mix Monday night, the weather service said.

From Sunday morning, the weather forecast from National Weather Service Green Bay calls for:

  • Monday: An 80% chance of precipitation with the possible combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain before noon. Then comes snow, likely mixed with drizzle between
  • Monday evening: Mostly cloudy. Low of 25.
