The night has arrived for the broadcast of 2024 Kennedy Center Honors special and there are so many incredible artists ready to take the stage!

Queen Latifahwho was honored at last year’s show, is hosting the event for the first time.

The recipients to be honored at the annual national celebration of the arts are the acclaimed director and filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola; the legendary American rock band the Grateful Dead (Mickey Hart, Billy Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Bobby Weir); blues rock singer-songwriter and guitarist Bonnie Raitt; jazz trumpeter, pianist and composer Arturo Sandoval; and The Apollo, which will receive special recognition as an iconic American institution.

The event was recorded on December 8 at the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington DC and President Joe Biden and deputy chairman Kamala Harris were both present with their spouses.

CBS will air the special Sunday night (December 22) from 8:30 PM ET to 11:00 PM ET. You can also stream it on Paramount+.
