Eagles WR AJ Brown says he’s ‘playing’ against Commanders despite knee injury

Coach Nick Sirianni was mum on Brown’s status earlier in the day, saying, “We’ll see,” when asked if the wideout would practice on Friday. Brown was actually spotted on the practice field with teammates.

The wideout, who missed three games earlier this season with a hamstring injury and left early in Week 9’s win over Jacksonville with a knee problem, said he wasn’t sure how the recent knee injury appeared. However, he noted that no one is fully healthy at this point in the football season.

“I was fine after the game, fine the next day, fine the day after. So it just kind of comes with the game,” he said. “I guess that kind of thing starts to happen over a period of time, but you find a way to get through it, have to play through things. Nobody’s healthy right now.”

The Eagles are 11-0 in the games Brown starts this season. On Sunday, they will try to make it 12-0.
