EastEnders confirms consequences for Cindy as truth explodes | Soaps

New EastEnders pictures reveal the moment Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) life comes crashing down around her – as secrets explode on Christmas Day.

We’re getting ever closer to the spectacular celebratory reveal that will see the Beale and Knight families torn apart by the news that Cindy has been involved in an affair with her former stepson Junior (Micah Balfour) for months.

The shenanigans began when Cindy planned to win back her ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon), despite being engaged to first husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Her efforts proved unsuccessful and she then bedded Junior, where the two were caught by his uncle Kojo (Dayo Koleosho).

Frightened by what he saw, he ran off and climbed the emergency exit stairs at the community center as Cindy chased after him.

A fight broke out and he fell to the ground and was placed in an induced coma to aid his recovery.

The argument was witnessed by Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), her son Peter’s (Thomas Law) girlfriend.

Revealing that she had stolen some of cousin Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) medication to ease her pain from injuries sustained during Peggy’s club crush, Cindy decided she could blackmail her into silence.

After meeting a drug dealer, Cindy turned up at Lauren’s apartment with a gift – some pills. Lauren was shocked but was more than happy to take them off her.

Having previously struggled with addiction and being currently pregnant, this would have devastating consequences as she was taken to hospital with stomach pains.

Luckily, her unborn baby was fine, but another showdown with Cindy soon followed, and she admitted she was worried about the baby’s safety if she suddenly pulled out.

Earlier this week, we saw Lauren fall asleep after popping another pill and knocking a candle to the floor – setting her flat on fire.

Now, as spoiler pictures show – it’s not just the affair that reveals the ruin is Cindy’s Christmas.

At the Beale household, Peter pulls Lauren back from attacking her mother, who stands by Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Louie (Jake McNally).

When Cindy gets too close and denies ever delivering her, Lauren snarls in her face and all hell breaks loose!

We love the sound of this!

A further tense conversation at the Queen Vic barrel shop sees Cindy pleading with Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe) not to reveal her wrongdoings with Junior.
