Emmy Award-winning actor Martin Short returns to Rockefeller Plaza this weekend to host “Saturday Night Live” for the show’s tenth episode of Season 50 this weekend.

The return marks the “Only Murders in the Building” star’s third time hosting the long-running comedy show.

Card, 74first appeared on NBC late night series as a cast from 1984 to 1985. He most recently appeared as a co-host in December 2022 during season 48 alongside fellow actor and comedian Steve Martin, 79.

Short is nominated for best actor in a comedy for the 2025 Golden Globes for the New York City-based murder series, which just finished its fourth season on Hulu.

Last week, comedian Chris Rock hosted SNL and musician Gracie Abrams was the show’s musical guest.

The Dec. 21 “SNL” episode will be available to watch live on NBC at 11:30 PM ET/8:30 PM PT.
