“Hey guys, I was just wondering how you felt about being dethroned as the most popular pet names in sports. According to the 2024 Top Pet Names report, Jalen Brunson is now the most popular sports name.”

To which the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said- Brunson? It’s a good dog name.”
The NFL star redirected the entire conversation towards his naming preferences. Kelce even joked about how people prefer human names for dogs and dog names for people today.
