Britney Spears deletes bikini dance video over ‘mean’ comments as she declares food is ‘better than sex’

Britney Spears has revealed she deleted a recently posted video of herself dancing in a bikini over people saying ‘mean things’.

The 43-year-old singer took to Instagram on Friday to share an Instagram gallery of random photos and videos, along with a lengthy caption about why she deleted the clip, which ended with a declaration that food is ‘better than sex.’

She explained: ‘Another excursion but this time a smaller boat!!! Honestly, I like the smaller one better. I took the video of myself dancing down because so many people said so many mean things… if only they knew how serious my grief is.

‘It is a miracle from God that I played and danced, period. It’s insane!!! I didn’t think I was going to go at all, I was so sad… but immediately I saw the sea, the tiny little hotel that looks like an apartment, and the breakfast table inside the pool!!!’

Although many of the photos in the gallery were memes, there were two interesting photos of Spears, including one of her naked sunbathing on the beach and a selfie of just her breasts in a black bra.

She continued: ‘I’m such an odd cookie that most artists are a bit odd, but I immediately got busy playing with dark music and Winehouse in black lace and red bottoms!!! I forgot I did any of that and when I got home last night and was like WTF!!!

‘I took all my work down, then of course I looked through my phone and was like, Damn, there’s so much I haven’t even shown, but it makes me sad that people are saying mean things about me. I’m so damn sick of people saying they’re worried and if you don’t like the way I move then f*** off and don’t watch it!!!’

Britney went on to reveal that she fasted for a week before going into detail about her passion for food.

She wrote: ‘After my fasting week I sat down to finally get my bacon cheeseburger with a bun so tall it looked like a pie and just as I cut it in half right in the middle I saw the white swiss cheese and my mouth watering. And then when the bacon, which is never tough, always crispy, hits my tongue and the meat !!!

‘Food gives me a high, like feeling 6 years old, because food is god, especially if you’re fasting like me. It’s honestly better than sex (three flaming face emojis, three knives and three rose emojis)!!!’

The original video she posted of her dance was posted on Wednesday.

The Toxic hitmaker showed off her toned figure in a baby blue halter neck bikini as she danced vigorously in front of her camera during a getaway to Mexico.

At one point, the Princess of Pop was pictured slapping her pert derrière before running off.

In another part of the video, she pulled out a stuffed rabbit and was heard saying, ‘bad bunny baby’.

The singer – who recently shared her worries that she could “get hurt again” – also alluded to sustaining a jet ski injury while on holiday in her caption.

‘New bathing suit and new hair … jet ski …. The jet ski really hurt my hands even though I was over it,’ Britney wrote.

The star wore her platinum strands falling freely down her shoulders in loose waves. Britney equipped with a black choker around her neck.

The mother of two showed off her choreography, dancing barefoot with fluid and fast movements.

The clip comes after Britney opened up about her worries that she ‘could get hurt again’ in a candid Instagram post on Saturday.

The superstar, who regained control of her life and finances after her conservatory ended in November 2021, has been spending a lot of time in Mexico lately.

She even claimed that she moved there, although a source told The Hollywood Reporter the star has not actually taken the step.

She called the country ‘sacred’ to her, but admits it’s sometimes hard to fully move on from the past.

She shared: ‘When it hurts this much it starts to feel good!!! So many of the moods and moods we women specifically go through is a healing process and it’s a very fragile thing!!!’

‘Not sure why I’m explaining myself but there is a bit of negativity with me mentioning my move to Mexico!!! It is a gift from God that I will never take for granted!!!’

‘OK yes when I get back I will show the living room during the day so you can see the view!!! It’s insane and much better for the viewer, but for some reason this place has been kind of sacred to me and I didn’t want to share every aspect of the possibilities.’

She added: ‘It will grow and expand if I follow my heart but sometimes it’s complicated to even try to move on if you think you might get hurt again!!!’

…The Baby One More Time singer also joked about her ‘complex’ nature and how she’s working on being kinder to herself.

‘So I guess I’m a complex person and just say I just want to eat ice cream tonight and not dance at all!!! I’m human and yes, I want a place in Mexico and in America!!!’

‘My mornings here are incredible – the sunrises are all pink and bright yellow and I get my little mat and stretch every morning to try and tune up my inner dialogue in a more loving and caring way!!! So I can be a better friend and person to myself!!!’

And in true Britney fashion, she finished with a funny story about her two teddy bears: ‘Hope you guys have a wonderful holiday!!! At night I sleep with Roger and Henry and I have no idea where I came up with those names, but they are my two teddy bears!!!’

‘One in front of me and one behind me!!! My hairdresser told me today that both her grandfathers are called Roger and Henry – we almost lost it!!! SO WEEIIIIIRRD!!!’

Britney has faced significant personal battles over the years, including the long-running conservatorship that controlled her finances and personal decisions until it ended in 2021.

Her much-publicized divorce from Sam Asghari combined with the challenges of parenting her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, has been marred by drama, particularly with her ex-husband Kevin Federline publicly criticizing her parenting.

The emotional post comes after Britney reconnected with her older brother, Bryan Spears, who joined her during her recent trip to Mexico, as seen in an Instagram video the singer shared on Thursday.

In the clip, the Toxic hitmaker was seen filming a short reel with his brother inside what appeared to be a spacious hotel room.

In the video, Britney told her followers: ‘My brother decided to visit me in Mexico. hi mr Bryan.’

She then moved the camera to reveal Bryan standing nearby, who quickly greeted her fans.

“That’s my hot brother,” Britney added. ‘I love my brother so much. He flew all the way over here. He is so sweet and handsome’.

Last year in August, the pop star and her older sibling apparently put their differences aside following her split from Asghari.

Earlier this month on December 2, Britney celebrated her 43rd birthday – and was also declared legal after her divorce from Asghari was finalized seven months earlier.

In May, the former couple had reached a settlement after the actor initially filed for divorce in August 2023 after just 14 months of marriage.
