Nelson Agholor ruled out vs. Steelers due to concussions

The Ravens will be without a key wide receiver Saturday against the Steelers as Nelson Agholor has been downgraded from questionable to out with a concussion.

Agholor did not practice all week after coming down hard from a leaping catch last Sunday against the New York Giants. Head coach John Harbaugh said Thursday that Agholor had enough time to potentially clear concussion protocol and play, but he wasn’t ready.

Agholor has 14 catches for 231 yards and two touchdowns this season. He caught three passes over the past five games.

The Ravens would be even more short-handed at wide receiver if Rashod Bateman, who is questionable with a foot injury, is unable to play. Diontae Johnson has been waived.

Zay Flowers will lead Baltimore’s wide receiver group, but they could turn more to Tylan Wallace, who has caught all 10 of his targets for 191 yards, and rookie Devontez Walker, who made his first catch and touchdown last week against the Giants.
