Giving back to those who seek change. Miranda Lambert is a country music badass but has a soft spot for dogs. Since co-founding MuttNation in 2009, Miranda Lambert has been on a mission to raise awareness about pets, help four-legged friends find their forever homes, and help financially support local shelters so they can continue to rescue dogs. This year, during Lambert’s third annual big shopping day with Tractor Supply, Miranda Lambert brought along a special friend and canine friend, Ella Langley to buy gifts, food and toys for local Nashville shelters. “It’s our third annual big store for the local shelters in Nashville. I brought a special friend who also loves rescue! Miss Ella Langley. We are sisters in country music and in dog lovers.” Lambert said as cameras followed the two women into Tractor Supply, highlighting some of the treats dogs, puppies, kittens and cats will receive at shelters. After shopping, Santa came early and the two women hand-delivered all the items to the shelters and gave attention to some of the animals while there. While these two did something amazing during MuttNation’s big store day, Lambert had another surprise for Langley that day. MuttNation gave Ella Langley’s rescue non-profit a gift of $5,000. “Y’all already know Ella Langley is a badass, and what makes her even more badass is that she is a founding board member of the Pawsitive Rescue Division – a rescue group here in Tennessee. They’re just getting off the ground, so MuttNation surprised them with a $5,000 grant to help ‘them grow’.” Ella Langley has two dogs and, like Miranda Lambert, is passionate about finding all dogs their forever homes. When she’s not on the road, she spends her free time finding homes for these adorable dogs and encouraging people to adopt instead of shopping for them. After months of posting dogs available for adoption on her site, she announced this fall that she is a founding board member of the Pawsitive Rescue Division, a Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) dog rescue. “I know you may have seen me write about these sweet dogs for adoption and I am so happy to finally announce that I am a founding board member of the Pawsitive Rescue Division! Animals have always been something I am passionate about. about and I’m so excited about this journey.” MuttNation’s generous grant not only helps Langley’s organization get off the ground as it recently got up and moving, but it also shows support from Lambert that she hopes Pawsitive Rescue Division can make a significant difference in the rescue community. Based on Pawsitive Rescue Division’s Instagram page, they have already helped several dogs find their forever homes, and with this grand mission, their mission can continue to grow while helping furry friends. Check out a few of the comments uplifting these two women and their mission to help house pets. “LOVE! The world needs more people like you.” “This post just tested pawsitive for being bad and making me smile for those puppies!” “I love this! Can’t wait for the collaboration!” “Our hearts.” “Love Ella even more!”
