The 1,500-page spending bill that Congress tried to pass yesterday has just been hacked down to 116 pages. Congress just cut 1400 pages of spending. I have never witnessed that before. I have been doing this for over 20 years.

The $15 million to make recycling more accessible. It’s gone. The 12 biolabs, VAX mandates, gain-of-function, gone. The law that puts them above the law.

But they kept the $3 million to inspect the molasses inspectors. Nothing is worse than bad molasses, can’t take that risk. Huge loss for the molasses lobby. Big molasses, not happy. Regardless, it was a big win for Trump and DOGE and that is the best that Congress will do.

When Democrats got the news that they wouldn’t get a raise and wouldn’t be able to opt out of Obamacare, they started yelling, “To hell with you!” inside their small meeting room. Yes, they sing when they don’t get their way, they sing. The adults sing.

The Trump team says that’s the new playbook. We don’t have to wait that long to find out what’s in those secret spending bills anymore. We can read it on the Internet, and Musk can use his megaphone to blast out what is in it.

The American people no longer need to be held hostage to backroom deals the week before Christmas. Taxpayers must not stand still and have our money wasted on donor projects so that politicians can be re-elected. We are catching these shady politicians in the act now.
