“College GameDay” returns to Notre Dame for one of the Irish’s biggest home games ever in the College Football Playof era.

College football’s best pregame show featuring Rece Davis, Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard will be on site ahead of Friday night’s first-round CFP matchup between No. 7 seed Notre Dame (11-1) and Indiana no. 10 (11-1, 8-1 in Big Ten play).

It’s the first of two “GameDay” shows this weekend, and the first trip back to South Bend for the “GameDay” crew since Week 4 of last season.

Marcus Freeman’s squad brings a 10-game winning streak and a top-three-ranked scoring offense and defense into Friday’s contest against Curt Cignetti’s Hoosiers.

The winner of Friday’s game will advance in the CFP and play No. 2 seed Georgia in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day in New Orleans. Here’s what you need to know about “College GameDay” on Friday, including the time, date, location, who the guest picker is and more:

Where is the ‘College GameDay’ location on Friday?

  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET

The “College GameDay” crew travels to Notre Dame on Friday for the first of two “GameDay” shows during the first-round CFP weekend. Friday’s special edition of “College GameDay” starts at 3:30 PM ET from the Library Lawn on the Notre Dame campus in South Bend, Indiana.

This is the first time “College GameDay” has returned to the Notre Dame campus since Week 4 of the 2023 season, when the Irish hosted Ohio State at Notre Dame Stadium.

Saturday marks Notre Dame’s second time in the program this season, while it will be Indiana’s third.

How to watch ‘College GameDay’ on Friday? TV channel, streaming options

“College GameDay” will be televised nationally on ESPN. Streaming options for “College GameDay” include the ESPN app (by signing in with your TV provider credentials) and Fubo, which carries the ESPN family of networks and offers a free trial to new subscribers.

‘College GameDay’ schedule on ESPN

Friday’s special edition of “College GameDay” will precede today’s lone College Football Playoff game between No. 7 seed Notre Dame and no. 10 seed Indiana at 20 A.M.

ABC and ESPN will broadcast Friday’s first-round CFP game featuring Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy, Molly McGrath and Katie George.

After Friday’s show, “College GameDay” will make the nearly four-and-a-half-hour drive southeast to Columbus, Ohio for Saturday’s CFP first-round matchup between No. 8 seed Ohio State and no. 9 seed Tennessee.
