UNLV releases contract with new football head coach

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Last Friday, UNLV announced Dan Mullen as the new head football coach, replacing Barry Odom.

Odom accepted the position as Purdue’s head football coach.

Mullen’s contract runs until the end of 2029. The contract says his annual salary will be $400,000. He will also receive an introductory bonus of $35K.

The university will also pay Mullen a total of $3.1 million per year for his media appearances. He will also be paid annual bonuses starting in 2027 of $100K and then $200K each year after that.
