Boyz II Men wins The Masked Singer Season 12

The Masked Singer has finally answered the question on everyone’s mind: Who is it?!

A new winner was finally named during the Fox singing competition series’ season 12 finale.

After a season full of torrid performances, Wasp and Buffalos were the last two competitors standing during the December 18 episode, and neither act held back when it came to hitting their final numbers in hopes of taking home The Masked Singer crown.

Wasps brought the house down with covers off Bruno Mars‘ “When I Was Your Husband” and Whitney Houston‘I’m Your Baby Tonight. After the mysterious celebrity’s powerful rendition, he shared an emotional message to his younger self.

“Your wings are like your intuition, trust them,” Wasp told her. “Trust your intuition and believe in yourself.”

When it came time for the Buffalos to take the stage, they showed their range by performing Gotye‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ followed by Sam Smith‘s tearjerker “Too Good at Goodbyes.”

The unidentified boy band were equally emotional at the end of their journey. “It was so liberating,” a Buffalo told the judges through tears. “I’m crying right now. I don’t even know why. It’s made me feel like with these guys we can do anything.”
