NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A line of thunderstorms is approaching the Midstate this morning and is expected to move through most of the area through our morning commute.

5:20 – ONE Flood warning is issued for Trigg County.

05:07 – ONE Flood warning is issued for Christian County, KY from 8:53 AM to 7:07 PM CST.

04:38 – ONE Advice on floods is issued for Christian County, Todd County and Trigg County, Kentucky.

04:03 – ONE Severe thunderstorm warning has expired for Central Marshall County, Trigg County and Lyon County.

03:36 ONE Flood watch is issued for the following Kentucky counties: Allen County, Cumberland County, Logan County, Monroe County, Simpson County, Christian County, Todd County and Trigg County.

FIRST WEDNESDAY WEATHER: TOMORROW

As storms move through the Midstate this morning, there is a low-end threat for a few strong to an isolated severe storm.

MAIN THREATS: Heavy rain can cause road washouts, poor visibility and minor flooding in areas with poor drainage. Wind gusts of 40+ mph and even an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out at this time.

ONE FLOODING remains in effect for most of Middle Tennessee until noon today.

The severe threat will subside by early afternoon, but heavy rain could still cause problems on our roads until all the rain moves out from west to east in the evening.
