Where Seth Henigan ended the Memphis career on the NCAA’s all-time passing list

FRISCO, TEXAS — Seth Henigan’s name is all over the Memphis football record books — and the NCAA.

Henigan threw for 294 yards to help the Tigers beat West Virginia in the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl. That gave him 14,296 yards for his career, which tied him for 13th all-time in NCAA passing yards.

He entered Tuesday’s game as the no. 15 in all-time passing yards, but passed Marshall’s Rakeem Cato and Hawaii’s Colt Brennan during the game. He is sixth among quarterbacks who played only four years in college. Case Keenum is the all-time NCAA passing leader with 19,217 career passing yards.

He is also tied for 26th all-time with 104 passing yards.

Henigan won the starting job in Memphis as a true freshman in 2021 and has held it ever since.

Seth Henigan’s career passed records

Henigan holds nearly all of Memphis’ all-time passing records. He broke the yardage record during last year’s AutoZone Liberty Bowl win over Iowa State, then broke the touchdown pass record against Charlotte earlier this season. He is also the winningest quarterback in Memphis history.

In addition to those records, he is also the leader in AAC history in passing yards. He also finished his career tied with Houston’s Clayton Tune for the AAC touchdown lead.
