Sonic The Hedgehog 3’s end credits scene has been leaked online

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 doesn’t hit theaters until December 20, but spoilers have already leaked online, including of its end credits scene, which sets up a fourth film.

As reported by Kotakusmartphone footage of the credits scene has notably appeared on social media sites such as X/Twitter, YouTube and TikTok.

Fans looking forward to Sonic 3 – which sees the introduction of Shadow the Hedgehog as a new villain played by The Matrix star Keanu Reeves – may therefore want to take steps to avoid spoilers in the coming days.

The end credit scene is of particular value as, after introducing Knuckles in the second film and Shadow the Hedgehog in this third, it will introduce the big addition coming in the fourth Sonic the Hedgehog film.

“It’s fun to watch the fan debates online about who’s coming next, who’s going to be teased at the end of the movie,” director Jeff Fowler said in November. “We have a lot of the same conversations. We’ve all got our favorites on the filmmaker side, and we all make good cases about ‘it’s got to be this or that.’ It’s fun to maintain that anticipation. This film is no different in terms of to tease new characters.”

Of course, fans can find out when Sonic 3 hits theaters later this week. “Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before,” reads the synopsis.

“With their abilities surpassed in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.”
