So far we haven’t seen a movie like it Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu. That’s not to say we haven’t seen versions of the Dracula myth before. Most of us can tell you the key ingredients to any kind of Dracula tale. Neck biting, blood being sucked, a mysterious force hunting near midnight. But here’s one thing the Eggers movie has that the previous iterations didn’t? Bill Skarsgård’s presencefamous for bringing Pennywise and The Crow to life, and now turning his attention to Count Orlok i upcoming 20204 movie Nosferatu.

In this exclusive clip shared only on CinemaBlend, it is Nosferatu cast talk about Bill Skarsgård coming into character. Check this out while you wait for the movie to open.

I’m still glad that in this exclusive clip, Focus Features hid the terrifying voice that Nicholas Hoult talks about in the above exclusive clip. Because there is no real way for us to describe it. You just have to trust the actor who claims it is more disturbing than anything he did as Pennywise the Clown in the two-parter THE adaptation. And when you think back to all the horrible things he did to kids in those moviesthat can help you prepare for evil Nosferatu.

The rest of Nosferatu is a cool ride. Any familiar with Robert Eggers know that he is a master at establishing mood, suspense and dread. He has correctly colored such disturbing features as The witch, The lighthouseand The Norwegian. And critics have so far fell over itself to praise the work he has done in this Dracula tale. It’s truly unlike anything you’ve seen in theaters this year, and it may find itself in several key awards races as 2025 rolls around.

You might think so Nosferatu is an unusual film to release at Christmas time. But the movie industry actually has a rich history of counter-programming horror during the holidays, as some people want to get away from the sincerity of a Hallmark Christmas movieor the knowledge of another display of A Christmas story. We know, we know. You will shoot your eye out.

Instead, this holiday season, let Robert Eggers and his cast take you on a terrifying journey into the unknown, where a powerful entity (Bill Skarsgard) seizes the love and attention of an innocent maiden (Lily-Rose Depp) from across the country, and we wonder if a mad professor (Willem Dafoe) can come up with a solution to end the reign of terror in time. Nosferartu opens in cinemas on Christmas Day. Grab your tickets now.
