Over the past three seasons, Delane has recorded 146 tackles with seven tackles for loss, six interceptions, four forced fumbles and 16 pass breakups while starting 29 games.

A three-star recruit in the 2022 class, according to the 247Sports composite, Delane carved out a role in Virginia Tech’s defense as a freshman. He appeared in eight games while making four starts at cornerback, then started the next two seasons.

LSU has needs throughout the secondary. The Tigers must replace two starting safeties after Major Burns retired and redshirt junior Sage Ryan entered the transfer portal. They are also remodeling their corner room.
