Kelly Reilly says goodbye to the series before the finale

With the clock ticking down to the final episode of Paramount Network’s “Yellowstone,” series star Kelly Reilly took to Instagram on Sunday to confirm that the Dec. 15 episode is indeed the main series finale.

“Hi, I’m so deep in another role at the moment about another country worth fighting for in the UK,” Reilly wrote. “But across the pond, tonight is the finale of the show. Whatever the future holds, this is the end of the show we’ve been doing for the last 7 years.”

Reilly went on to thank “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan as well as the entire cast and crew of the western drama.

“Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with over the seasons,” Reilly added. “I’ve made true friends for life. The support of the crew and the cast’s trust and dedication. The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit. It changed me. It turned me on. It challenged me in every possible way and I will forever be grateful for that. For Taylor Sheridan taking a chance on me and continuing to write her in ways I felt on fire as an actor.”

While this marks the end for the main series, Reilly will soon star alongside her on-screen husband Cole Hauser in a “Yellowstone” spin-off series following their characters Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton. Sources confirmed to Black that the series is approaching production.
