Lions Stud reveals teams he doesn’t want to face in the playoffs

There are only four weeks left in the regular season before the playoffs roll around. The Detroit Lions are 12-1 on the campaign and hold a narrow one-game lead over the Philadelphia Eagles for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

The Lions are looking to make a Super Bowl and get over the hump they couldn’t get over last year. The NFC is stacked this year, especially the NFC North. The Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers all need to make the playoffs. Every team has at least nine games as we enter Week 15.

There are many good teams that will compete to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. And Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown revealed the one divisional team he doesn’t want to play in the playoffs.

During an episode of St. Brown Podcast, Equanimeous asked his brother Amon-Ra who he would rather play in the playoffs, the Vikings or the Packers. And Amon-Ra chose Minnesota.

“Well, we haven’t played the Vikings another time yet, but I’d probably say the Vikings. Playing a divisional team in the playoffs, it’s going to be crazy.”

With the Vikings and Packers likely seeding the fifth and sixth seeds in the conference, there’s a good chance one of those teams will have to travel to Ford Field and play the Lions in the divisional round if the seeding remains the same .

The Packers and Lions played twice already this season, with Detroit winning both games. Although they came out on top, they escaped with a 34-31 win over Green Bay in Week 14. If a few calls went the other way, it’s quite possible the Packers beat Detroit.

In Week 7, the Lions also narrowly beat Minnesota 31-29.

Both teams have shown the ability to keep up with the Lions, but it’s hard to beat a team three times in one season. The USC product knows that and feels like the Packers would be a tougher matchup for Detroit.

They have the Vikings on the slate in Week 18, but there’s a chance Detroit will rest their players in preparation for the postseason.

Three teams from the NFC North will make the playoffs this season, but Amon-Ra has a clear preference for who he wants to battle against.
