Miami Dolphins fill Odell Beckham Jr.’s roster spot with Alabama prep alumnus

After spending last season on the Green Bay Packers’ practice squad, DuBose made his NFL regular season debut in the Dolphins’ season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 8 and had his first NFL reception against the Buffalo Bills on September 12. .

DuBose had been on injured reserve for Miami’s past 11 games because of a shoulder injury, but he will be eligible to play when the Dolphins face the Houston Texans at noon CST Sunday at NRG Stadium in Houston.

DuBose started his college career at Miles before transferring to Charlotte. He entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick of the Packers in the 2023 draft. This season, when Green Bay waived DuBose in the roster reduction between the preseason and the regular season, Miami claimed the wide receiver for its roster.
