Kenneth Walker III doubts Sunday’s game vs. Packers and other Seahawks injury updates

As for Charbonnet, who last week had a career-best 134 rushing yards and two touchdowns, along with 59 receiving yards, Macdonald just wants to see the second-year back build on what he’s shown so far. The Seahawks will also have Kenny McIntosh, who gained 38 yards on his seven carries last week, and could again elevate George Holani from the practice squad to add additional depth.

“Keep building, keep driving hard, take care of the rock, finish races,” Macdonald said of his expectations for Charbonnet. “Doing what he does, catching the ball out of the backfield, he does a great job of protection, he’s been doing that all season. And Kenny Mac and George, too, if George is in there instead of Ken.”

Tre Brown, who missed last week’s game with a hamstring injury, was ruled out, but while he will miss a second straight game, the injury does not appear to be serious enough to merit a trip to injured reserve, Macdonald said.

Safety Jerrick Reed II (quadricep) and tight end Brady Russell (foot) are also ruled out, and when Macdonald was asked if either of their injuries were potentially long-term, Macdonald suggested there could be a trade for one or both , and said, “We’ll look at those two guys, maybe make an announcement here in the next day or two about those guys.”
