The automatic buyout clause in Belgium midfielder Arthur Vermeeren’s loan deal with RB Leipzig is set to be activated with just one more appearance. This is reported by Germany’s prominent football publication, Kicker Magazine. The buyout clause in the 19-year-old’s loan deal was rumored to be in line with his estimated market value of €25 million.

Vermeeren has made 19 appearances across all competitions for the German Red Bulls so far this season. Another deployment will trigger the signing of Round 20. Although he is yet to get his name on the scoresheet for Marco Rose’s side this year, the defensive midfielder has been well-scored in the German press for consistent performances.
