Owen Wilson joins Matt Rife in upcoming comedy ‘Rolling Loud’, role details revealed

Owen Wilson and Matt Rife are set to star in the upcoming film Rolling Loud together!

The 56-year-old actor joins the previously announced 29-year-old comedian in the comedy, which begins production this weekend at the 2024 Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, according to Deadline.

The upcoming film is inspired by a true story and “follows an overprotective father (Wilson) who makes the worst parenting decision of his life when he sneaks his 13-year-old son into the world’s biggest hip-hop music festival and sets off a chaotic adventure with his ruthless colleague (Rife) and an eccentric festival volunteer as they navigate wild crowds, security and their own family dynamics.”

American High’s Jeremy Garelick is directing the feature from a script he wrote, with a release date set for 2025.
