Chris Rock predicts Trump, Musk-led ‘SpaceMex’ deportations

Comedian and quadruple Saturday Night Live guest host Chris Rock touched on several current events in his monologue, at one point previewing how the next Trump administration will carry out deportations with the help of MAGA supporter Elon Musk.

First, however, Rock took issue with complaints that Trump was “undignified” while in office.

“Dude. It is USA” joked Rock, who was making his first SNL appearance since the season 46 finale in May 2021. “We’ve had some presidents in the United States. Come on, man. This is not the most dignified job in the world. We’ve had presidents show up to inaugurations with pregnant slaves, okay? And I’m only talking about Bill Clinton.”

“I mean, you know the country we live in. You know the history of this country. Do you know how many rapists are in my wallet right now? A cup of coffee in America costs seven rapists!” he continued. “Trump will get it down to three.”

As for Trump’s plans for mass deportations, Rock joked about how the Menendez brothers’ potential release may be ill-timed.

“Just in time to be deported,” he said.

“Trump’s not playing, man. That’s right. This time it’s totally different. He’s working with the number one African American in the world, the richest African American in the world: Elon Musk,” he continued.
“No one knows how to get rid of people like a South African.”

“Oh, he’s serious. Trump’s not playing. He’s got Elon. They’re going to put them in a rocket ship — call it ‘SpaceMex,'” Rock joked, referring to Musk’s company, SpaceX.

Also on the subject of immigration, Rock referenced how MLB outfielder Juan Soto signed one of the most lucrative contracts in baseball history this week when he agreed to join the New York Mets.

“You know, a lot less immigrants would come to America if you stopped paying them $700 million to play baseball,” he joked. “(Mets owner) Steve Cohen bought a Dominican for $700 million. You used to be able to get a whole bushel for that much!”

Among the other topics Rock addressed was the current president and his pardon of son Hunter for tax and gun-related crimes.

“I gotta hand it to Joe, man,” Rock said. “He doesn’t move as fast as he used to. He doesn’t talk as fast as he used to, you know—but that middle finger still works!”
