Louisville survived a second-round matchup with No. 8 Northern Iowa (3-2) in five sets to host the regional pod of the NCAA Championships, then stormed past No. 4 seed Purdue (3-0) to set up Saturday’s date with Stanford. Anna Debeer recorded a team-high 15 kills in the three-set win and was also credited with seven digs. Louisville will face a Stanford team that swept its way into the Round of 16 and took down the No. 6 Florida (3-1) with relative ease to set up a shot at Louisville in the quarterfinals. The winner of this match will play the winner of the quarter-final between No. 1 Pitt and no. 3 Kentucky.
