Louisville football hit a home run when it added Tyler Shough to the transfer portal; now, that Cardinals hopes to do the same with former USC quarterback Møller Moss.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Moss, who is entering his redshirt senior season, committed to Louisville and coach Jeff Brohm on Saturday. Thamel added that Moss was one of the most sought-after quarterbacks on the market this offseason.

Moss, who was in his fourth year with Trojan horses this past season, chose the Cardinals over Missouri, the other school he also visited this week. Moss started the first nine games of the season for USC before being replaced by UNLV transfer Jayden Maiava, whom he had beaten out in the offseason for the starting role.

Moss finished the season completing 64.4% of his passes for 2,555 yards, 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He had attempted 92 passes during the first three years of his career as the backup to Caleb Williams.

Louisville’s transfer portal class ranked sixth when he entered the day before Moss’ commitment, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Miller is the sixth commitment for the Cardinals, joining edge Wesley Bailey, linebacker Darius Thompson and offensive linemen Makylan Pounders, Naeer Jackson and Mahamane Moussa.
