Amber Alert issued for abducted 7-year-old from San Jacinto County

An Amber Alert has been issued for 7-year-old Hazel Hodge-Lassiter of San Jacinto County.

According to officials, the young girl was abducted and was last seen in the 900 block of County Line Road in Shepherd, Texas around midnight on September 25, 2024.

Hodge-Lassiter was reportedly last seen with her parents, 44-year-old Brandon Lassiter and 41-year-old Ashley Doss-Lassiter.

The San Jacinto Sheriff’s Office reports there was an ongoing investigation with Child Protective Services going to court.

CPS obtained a court order to take custody of the child, but when authorities went to serve the order on Friday, the parents and child could not be found.

San Jacinto County officials report they may be in a gray 2019 Nissan Rogue with Texas license plate MDN 6176.
