Sixers center out vs Pacers

Philadelphia 76ers center and former MVP Joel Embiid took a shot to the face with 6.5 seconds left in the first half of the Sixers’ game against the Pacers on Friday night in Philadelphia and will not play the rest of the night.

Embiid scored 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting and had four rebounds and five assists in the first half. Embiid has been dealing with injuries since last season and hasn’t been 100% yet this year, but he came into this game averaging 22.0 points and 8.4 rebounds this season.
