Several Chiefs will miss the Arrowhead game against the Chargers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Several Kansas City Chiefs players are set to miss the home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Sunday evening, December 8, prior to the game at Arrowhead Stadium, that Running Back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Defensive End Joshua Uche, Offensive Lineman CJ Hanson, Tackle Ethank Driskell, Tackle Kinglsey Sumataia, Defensive Tackle Marlon Tuipulotu and Defensive End Malik Herring will don’t play.

Edwards-Helaire has not played yet this season due to complications from post-traumatic stress disorder. Tight End Mecole Hardman was also listed as questionable on the Chiefs’ injury report Saturday.

However, Left Tackle DJ Humphries, who signed in late November, is expected to make his debut in Kansas City. Matthew Wright is also expected to kick again in place of Kickers Spencer Shrader and Harrison Butker, who are both injured.

Meanwhile, the Chargers have listed Quarterback Easton Stick, Linebacker Denzel Perryman, Wide Receiver Ladd McConkey, Safety Tony Jefferson, Offensive Lineman Brenden Jaimes, Offensive Lineman Jordan McFadden and Defensive Lineman Justin Eboigbe on its inactive list.
