Keoghan appeared to confirm that the lyrics to her song “Bed Chem” (which included “Who’s the sweet boy with the white jacket/ and the thick accent?”) were about him when he commented on a Vogue TikTok of him in a (yes) white jacket at the Burberry show saying, “he’s like an Irish porson,” referring to his heavy accent.

After joining Taylor Swift on stage during the Eras Tour stop in Sydney, Australia in February, Carpenter shared a sweet post on Instagram documenting the special moment.
