QUACKKKKK – Oregon Flip’s 5-star DB from Ohio State

Moments ago, a nice surprise hit from Dan Lanning and staff as the Ducks look for a strong National Signing Day. And there’s nothing better than adding five stars to your list.

After a lengthy fall recruitment, the Parker (Ala.) cornerback was Na’eem Offord has announced his decision to return to Oregon. Offord has been committed to Ohio State since early February. He has considered Oregon and Auburn for most of the fall, including trips to each. And on various points one could argue strongly for all three schools.

The 6-foot-1, 181-pounder is a truly elite cornerback. He is the no. 12 ranked player at national level and no. 3 ranked corner per On3 Industry Rankings.

There is no doubt that this is a massive win for Dan Lanning and his staff on the recruiting trail. Offord joins an elite secondary group for Oregon that includes the 5-star Trey McNutt and 4 stars Brandon Finney and Dorian Brew.

The Ducks now have 19 verbal commitments in the 2025 class. Offord is the third five-star commit for the Ducks in the class.
