The stakes are high when Nevada, UNLV meet in the 50th Battle for the Fremont Cannon

Saturday will mark the 50th game for the Fremont Cannon between Nevada and UNLV.

Nevada (3-9) will try to turn the Fremont Cannon blue for the first time since 2021 and earn its first Mountain West win of the season. With a UNLV win (9-2), the Rebels will play in their second straight Mountain West title game against Boise State and complete their first 10-win regular season in program history.

Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday.
