Fortnite Remix: The Finale concert: how to watch

It’s called Remix: The Finale, and the big difference seems to be the scale. Instead of one artist, the event will feature four: Snoop, Ice Spice, Eminem and Juice WRLD. All of them have featured in the game’s current season (Eminem also had his own solo event a year ago), with spots on the Battle Royale map, along with a giant Juice WRLD looming over the island this past week.

Fortnite developer Epic says the event “connects dreamscapes” from each artist, so it’s likely to be pretty sad. It will also feature a new Juice WRLD track called “Empty Out Your Pockets” as well as a Snoop song with Sting called “Another Part Of Me.”

Music aside, the event is also notable because it kicks off the game’s next chapter, which starts on December 1st. Here’s everything you need to know going in.

The concert starts on November 30 at 2:00 PM ET and it takes place within Fortnite themselves. As always, Epic suggests logging into the game early to ensure you get a spot; the virtual doors open at 1:20 p.m. ET. The developer also says it will broadcast an extra performance later that day “provided no technical issues arise.” No specific time has yet been announced.

If you can’t get to a console or PC in time, Twitch and YouTube will almost certainly have plenty to offer Fortnite streamers so you can still watch the event live.

Next chapter and season of Fortnite‘s battle royale begins on December 1, the day after the concert. And Epic has already shared quite a bit about what to expect. The new season is called “Hunters”, and in it players will take on the role of a kind of ronin tasked with hunting demons. Here’s the cinematic trailer that gives a sense of the story and the aesthetic changes:

In terms of gameplay, a new trailer shows an emphasis on sword-based melee combat, a fire-swinging power-up, and some scary-looking boss characters roaming the map. It also includes a very brief tease of Godzilla stomping around the Battle Royale island.
