Wallace has since posted a photo of a gingerbread man in what appears to be whipped cream.

His bizarre Instagram story was accompanied by the words “enjoy your weekend”.

It comes after Wallace stepped down from his MasterChef judging role after an investigation into alleged “sexual comments” was launched.

The BBC revealed that 13 people, including Newsnight host Kirsty Walk, accused him of “inappropriate behaviour” over a 17-year period across five shows, from 2005 to 2022 – allegations Wallace denies.

It comes as…

These include claims that Gregg held a female MasterChef colleague by the head and thrust into her as she knelt down in front of him and cleaned a mark from his trousers.

He has also been accused of faking a sexual act in front of horrified colleagues as he faces a new wave of allegations.

The presenter, 60, earlier thanked people for “showing their support” in a video posted to his Instagram on Thursday evening.

Gregg said in an Instagram video: “I want to thank all the people who are reaching out, reaching out and showing their support.

“That’s nice of you, thank you very much.”

Yesterday, The Sun revealed that a former contestant claimed the TV star groped her while she was cooking on the set of the show while the cameras were rolling.

She moved away and said he later yelled “You stupid cow” when she scalded her hand.

The woman, who asked not to be named, said she let Wallace know she was disgusted but “got her card marked” so as not to see it as teasing.

Another woman claims Wallace told her in a busy pub that she turned him on, made more lewd comments and squeezed her bottom.

In a third claim, Celebrity MasterChef contestant Emma Kennedy claimed yesterday that she saw co-host Wallace grope a camera assistant during a photo shoot for the 2012 finalists.

And a former employee claimed he made offensive Asian remarks on set in 2017.

The Sun first reported Wallace’s behavior last month.

On Thursday, he stepped down as allegations of misconduct are investigated, with singer Sir Rod Stewart accusing him of humiliating his wife Penny on the show.

He is also accused of entering the MasterChef studio “completely naked apart from (a) sock pulled over his penis” before doing a “silly dance”, reports the Telegraph – who spoke to a witness to the incident.

Gregg’s lawyers told the BBC that it was completely false that he had engaged in sexually harassing behaviour.

Banijay UK, which makes the hit BBC cookery show, said it was carrying out “an immediate, external review to fully and impartially investigate”.

A spokesman said: “While this review is underway, Gregg Wallace will be stepping down from his role on MasterChef and is committed to co-operating fully throughout the process.

“Banijay UK’s duty of care to staff is always a priority and our expectations of behavior are made clear to both cast and crew on all productions, with multiple ways to raise concerns, including anonymously, clearly promoted on set.

“While these are historical allegations, cases brought to our attention where these expectations are not being met are thoroughly investigated and dealt with appropriately.”

A BBC spokesman added: “We take any issue raised with us seriously and have robust processes in place to deal with them. We are always clear that any behavior that falls below the standards set by the BBC expect will not be tolerated.

“Where an individual is contracted directly by an external production company, we will share any complaints or concerns with that company and we will always support them as they deal with them.”

And a spokesman for no. 10 said, “It is right that a thorough investigation be conducted.”
