‘Blue Bloods’ fan finds big clue about character’s death in new photo ahead of series finale

An eagle-eyed fan may have just cracked the code regarding the upcoming funeral scene blue blood season 14. Warning, there are major spoilers for blue blood series finale ahead!

It was announced that the series finale of blue blood would air on December 13 with the network shares photos from the episode as a little teaser. And in all the funeral pictures, it became clear that the character Luis Badillo was not there. This caused rumors to swirl online that he would be the character that would be killed off.

Wednesday 27 November at blue blood posted a video on Instagram of one of the show’s iconic family dinners. While many in the comments were quick to say how much they will miss the show when it ends, one fan pointed out a huge revelation based on the latest photos released by CBS.

“Ok so you released a photo of the funeral that’s going to happen during the season finale,” the fan wrote in a comment on the Instagram post. “To the left of Frank Reagan in the front row of the funeral, it clearly shows Nancy Ticotin (Badillo’s Mother) (Janko’s partner). I think it’s safe to say that Luis Badillo is the one who dies.”

If you look closely at the photos from the funeral scene that CBS released ahead of the Dec. 13 finale, on the left, actress Nancy Ticotin sits with the funeral participants. She has appeared in two episodes of the show so far as Adriana Badillo, and it looks like this may be the third. However, her IMDb has not been updated to reflect her involvement in the series finale, which is titled “End of Tour.”

Although we can’t confirm that Badillo will get the ax as the show’s final two episodes have yet to air. But there are some other big clues that could point to his character being in trouble. In the trailer for the second half of season 14, a quick cut showed a character who appeared to be Badillo on the ground with his gun by his side. Eddie seemed to run to him.

Another big clue as to what’s going on is the fact that CBS released a photo of Eddie in a wheelchair and a hospital gown from a scene that will take place in season 14, episode 18. It appears that Mayor Peter Chase is also injured and lands in the hospital. At the funeral, the mayor is seen with his arm in a sling sitting next to Eddie. Badillo is not seen sitting next to his partner.

Vanessa Ray, who plays Eddie, teased that she had a big scene coming up with Badillo, played by Ian Quinlan.

“She has a really good time with Badillo. It’s, I think, probably my top five favorite scenes I’ve ever shot with him, just getting to work with Ian on a scene,” Vanessa told TV Insider on the 22nd.
