I’m a celebrity castaway first star of the show

I’m a celebrity has kicked its first star contestant out of the 2024 series.

After nearly two weeks of watching stars from Reverend Richard Coles to Coleen Rooney in the jungle, the public were able to vote to save their favorite campmate from the first elimination.

Broadcasting live on Friday night (November 29), hosts Ant and Dec revealed that the first celebrity to leave the show was a journalist and Loose Women star Jane Moore.

Reacting to the news, she said: “Hard work doesn’t go unrewarded, let’s put it that way.”

After leaving the camp and meeting Ant and Dec, she gave them a “soft hug”, saying the experience had been “strange and magical”, adding: “People say it’s the best experience of their life, but I won’t say that with all the rain!”

The hosts also chatted to her about the “one point of contention” from her time on the ITV show where Moore accuses ex-boxer Barry McGuigan of ageism and misogyny for giving her the job of washing dishes at the camp.

“I wasn’t happy about it to be honest,” she told the hosts in her exit interview.

Moore said she would like to see the “quiet hard workers” like Melvin Odoom and Coleen Rooney win the series. “They’re not flamboyant, but they’re solid.”

Also on Friday’s episode, Coleen Rooney opened up about her miscarriages and the impact they had on her husband, former Manchester United striker Wayne.
