NFL Week 13 Start or Sit: DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins has had an up-and-down start to his life as a Kansas City manager. In his first game, Hopkins recorded eight catches for 86 yards and two touchdowns. In the two games since? He has collected 12 catches for 120 yards and a score.

Those numbers simply aren’t good enough for him to be a reliable starter, which is why Hopkins will have to sit out Week 13. To make matters worse, chiefs play Raiders who are solid against the pass and are 12th in the league in that category.

Hopkins simply doesn’t have the recent production, volume or matchup to make him a valuable starter in Week 13. If you’re in a pinch, he might be worth a shot in the dark at your FLEX position.
