Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen is engaged.

The actress, 27, said “I do” to the NFL star, 28, on Friday, Nov. 22, in a waterfront proposal.

The couple revealed the news on Friday, November 29 with a Instagram posts shows the moment they got engaged. Allen proposed at sunset in front of a flower arch while down on one knee. The snap showed Steinfeld kissing his new fiancé.

The pair were first linked when they were spotted together in New York City in May 2023, shortly after Allen ended his eight-year relationship with his girlfriend Brittany Williams.

In June 2023, a source told exclusively Us Weekly that Allen and Steinfeld’s courtship “went really well,” adding, “(They) laugh a lot when they’re together (and) always smile.”

While they have largely kept their romance out of the spotlight, Allen publicly acknowledged his relationship status in August 2023 when asked about his response to being photographed with Steinfeld on vacation. “The fact that anyone cares about it still blows my mind,” he said on the “Pardon My Take” podcast.

Steinfeld was later seen shopping with her mother and showed support for her boyfriend at a Buffalo Bills game in October 2023. That same month, she and the quarterback stepped out for a rare date night at a Buffalo Sabers vs. New York Rangers NHL game.

Fans got a candid glimpse of the pair in March, when Allen suffered a hilarious wardrobe malfunction while attending Paris Fashion Week with Steinfeld.

“My pants ripped at dinner ,” he wrote on X at the time. “Didn’t want the cheeks out… I love Paris .”

The couple later made a cute cameo in a video of her pregnant older sister Nicola Madden‘s sex reveal party. “I’m Josh,” Allen stated in the TikTok, which showed several family members and friends predicting the baby’s gender. “I’m Hailee,” Steinfeld said before correctly guessing that Allen would be getting a new nephew.

Ahead of their engagement, Steinfeld shut down speculation that the athlete had divorced after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring.

“I have a cute little doe about to happen,” she shared E! News as she showed off her jewelry at the 2024 Golden Globes and shared a subtle update on the duo’s relationship. “There’s no reason other than I just thought it was really cute.”

When asked to name her favorite aspect of dating an athlete, Steinfeld said, “Listen, what’s that not about? Come on.”
