TESCO is getting ready for a mega Black Friday, lowering prices on everything from coffee machines to booze.

The sales event officially kicks off on Friday, but the home goods retailer has already started rolling out some deals for shoppers.

Black Friday – which takes place on Friday 29 November – has become a huge hit with British shoppers despite originally being founded in the US.

The event sees retailers slash their prices to give customers a chance to grab a bargain before Christmas.

However, you should always shop around for the best possible deal as there is a chance you can find it cheaper elsewhere.

Also, you should only buy something if you were planning on it, and not just because it’s been reduced.

Tesco will reduce the price of over 50 items, with some items being slashed by almost 70%.

That includes a Joie Roomie Glide Co-Sleeping Crib, which has been slashed from £160 to £50.

The product can only be bought in stores and customers must have their Clubcard to hand to save.

Elsewhere, those looking to stock up their Christmas drinks cupboard on a budget can already pick up a liter bottle of Baileys for £10.

The creamy delight can cost up to £22 if you buy it at full price.

Tesco will run the deal until December 9, giving customers around two weeks to make the most of the offer.

Again, you must use your club card to get this discount.

Chocolate lovers also have a chance to get their hands on a selection of Christmas tubs.

Quality Street, Cadbury’s Roses and Heros will all be reduced from £6 to £4.50.

The offer will be available until December 3 and allows customers to save around 25% on the festive treats.

Tesco has already cut the prices of bathtubs this year, reducing them to as much as £3.50 in October.

It’s always worth keeping an eye on what other supermarkets are doing when it comes to Christmas chocolate to make sure you don’t miss out on a bargain.

Last week Morrisons said customers could pay £2 for the tubs if they spent £45 or more in store.

However, the deal ended last Thursday.

What are other retailers doing for Black Friday?

Dunelm has launched a 75% sale on Black Friday.

The home goods retailer has cut the price of everything from blinds to Christmas decorations.

Sainsbury’s has also kicked off the shopping event early by slashing the price of skincare and beauty products by up to 50%.
