And to get along with Miami Dolphins because the holiday has become a trend.

The The Packers and Dolphins met in Miami two years ago on Christmas Day. But the winner gets a turkey leg after this one is over.

Packers running back Josh Jacobs ran for three touchdowns Sunday in a dominant win over the San Francisco 49ers. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw for four touchdown passes in a win over New England.

But in a short week, will both players be as sharp?

Tagovailoa said he was “excited to kill narratives” earlier this week when talking about the Dolphins, who have won three straight and are playing in cold weather. He’ll get that opportunity as temperatures are expected to be in the low 30s at kickoff before plummeting.

Packers vs Dolphins predictions, picks, odds

Pete Dougherty: The Dolphins (5-6) are back in the playoff hunt at 1-3 with Tua Tagovailoa missing a month with a concussion and are coming off a comfortable win (34-15 over New England) on Sunday. They have the fastest receiving corps in the league with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, so if Jaire Alexander (knee) misses a second straight game, The packages secondary could be in for a rough day. But Jordan Love in the last two weeks looks healthier and sharper than he has all season, and that Packers will host the southernmost NFL franchise on a late November night with the early forecast predicting a gametime temperature in the mid to upper 20s. Expect to see a heavy dose of Josh Jacobs, Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks running between the tackles. They could be the difference in this one. Packers 27, Dolphins 21

Tom Silverstein: Even though Tua Tagovailoa is 0-7 in temperatures below 40 degrees, he is playing at an extremely high level. He shouldn’t have a problem holding onto the ball (his 10-inch hands are only a quarter-inch smaller than Aaron Rodgers’), but everyone reacts to the cold differently. The Packers aren’t dominant on both sides of the ball, but they run the ball well enough to keep Miami’s offense off the field. It may come down to how many times Josh Jacobs can run the ball. Packers 21, Dolphins 20

Analysis: The Packers defense gets back to doing what it does best by forcing three turnovers against the 49ers

Ryan Wood: In a short week, Josh Jacobs’ heavy workload against the 49ers is concerning. Jacobs is the safest thing this Packers offense has going for it right now, and with cornerback Jaire Alexander potentially out with an ongoing knee injury, a steady running game could be important against Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill. But the Packers have depth in their backfield. More importantly, Jordan Love appears to be headed in the right direction for the first time this season after posting back-to-back games with a passer rating over 100. The question for these Packers against most of their opponents is not whether they will win, but what they will look like winning. I expect the same against the sub-.500 Dolphins. Packers 27, Dolphins 20

More: Josh Jacobs provides answers to the Packers’ red zone problems and is ready for more on the short week

Dominique Yates: The Packers did exactly what they needed to do against the short-handed 49ers, taking a step in the right direction after a forgettable performance in Week 11 against the Bears. Jordan Love keeps getting better. Josh Jacobs is a stud. The defense also feels better about how it played against the 49ers compared to Chicago. The Dolphins are warming up. They started the year 2-6, but are on a three-game winning streak. Tua Tagovailoa is healthy and playing well, completing 73% of his passes for 1,443 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions in six games played. Tyreek Hill is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, which makes this matchup interesting, especially with the unknowns of Jaire Alexander’s health. No matter how they’ve done it, the Packers are winning and deserve credit for it. I believe that the victory continues. Packers 28, Dolphins 24
