Boyfriend with former Steelers quarterback to perform at halftime of Cowboys-Giants game

Lainey Wilson will be in the spotlight during Thursday’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. During halftime, she will perform at AT&T Stadium as part of the NFL’s halftime entertainment for their annual Thanksgiving slate.

Watching from Dallas is her boyfriend, former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges, who has been seen with Wilson not only at performances but on the red carpet at awards shows.

Hodges, 28, went undrafted out of Samford in 2019 and signed with the Steelers as a free agent. He was with the team through 2020 and he started several times. He signed with the Rams in 2021 and also played with the Canadian Football League’s Ottawa Redblacks in 2021 before calling it a career.

He now does real estate and coaching on the side as he supports Wilson. Hodges is best known for his 2019 season, in which he helped the Steelers ride the wave after losing Ben Roethlisberger for the season with an elbow injury.

Wilson has won nine CMA Awards over her rapid rise up the charts. She took home five trophies in 2023 and was named Female Vocalist of the Year in 2024, her third win in a row.
