Kylie Minogue performs at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Minogue joined a star-studded list of artists including Jennifer Hudson, Chloƫ Bailey, T-Pain and Billy Porter who performed at the annual event

Kylie Minogue shone in the very rainy weather 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday with “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,” “Slow” and “Padam Padam.”

It wasn’t Minogue’s first time playing the parade; she last performed at the annual event in 2010, when she played her single “Get Outta My Way” from her 2010 album Aphrodite.

On Wednesday, Minogue posted a video of her and her dancers rehearsing outside Macy’s for the Thanksgiving show.

Riding on her hot streak that started after the explosion of her hit single “Padam Padam” last year, Minogue entered the parade in promo mode for her recently released album Voltage II. She’ll take the album out on the road next year for the Tension Tour, kicking off next March in Toronto, before playing across much of the US and wrapping up the tour in Los Angeles in May. She also wrapped a critically acclaimed residency in Las Vegas earlier this year.

“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans around the world, celebrating the Tension era and more,” Minogue said back in September when she announced the tour. “It’s been an exciting ride so far, now get ready for your close-up because I’m going to call Lights, Camera, Action…and there’s going to be a whole lot of Padaming!”

Apart from Minogue, this year’s parade had a star-studded list of performers including T-Pain, Billy Porter, Jennifer Hudson, ChloĆ« Bailey, Idina Menzel Dan + Shay among others.

“OK, it was full of singing and dancing in the rain, but it was a lot of fun,” she said in a post on TikTok after the performance. “Thanks for having me. I want to dry off.”
