The Grinch heads to Krispy Kreme for the holidays with 3 new donuts

(Gray News) – Krispy Kreme promises fans’ hearts will grow three sizes this holiday season with three new donuts based on characters from the classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”

“Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection” will be available for a limited time from Friday. It features donuts based on the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who, as well as two returning holiday favorites.

The Grinch donut, which resembles the character, is an unglazed donut filled with cookies and cream filling and dipped in Grinch green icing.

Grinchy Claus donut is a glazed donut dipped in chocolate glaze and topped with white buttercream. It also has a piece of candy that shows the Grinch dressed as Santa Claus.

Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree donut is a glazed donut dipped in strawberry glaze with a green buttercream tree. The tree is decorated with sprinkles and a star candy.

The two returning favorites are the Santa Belly donut and the Holiday Sprinkle donut. The former is an unglazed donut filled with white cream and dipped in red icing, decorated to resemble Santa’s suit. The latter is a glazed donut dipped in chocolate glaze and covered in sprinkles.

In addition to the Grinchmas collection, Krispy Kreme says its annual “Day of the Dozens” will return on Dec. 12. Customers can get a dozen glazed donuts for $1 when they buy a dozen at regular price.
