Volunteers are preparing a festive dinner for those in need on Thanksgiving Day

35 years charity organization DC Central Kitchen feeds homeless and poor families in Washington. In the festive season, their kitchen becomes especially crowded. Dozens of local volunteers come here to help prepare dinners on the occasion of the Great Day. Everything, as laid out: turkey, potato, cranberry sauce and sweet pie. The DC Central Kitchen team says that this year they broke their own record.

About 50 volunteers volunteered to help DC Central Kitchen on the eve of Thanksgiving. Student from the University of George Washington Lauren Ottley – одна из них.
